Fennel-middle, doesn't make the best garden pal nonetheless it is another good choice for a background or in an area that would use some height. On the bright side both the flower-heads and the foliage attract such advantageous insects as ladybugs, one or two kinds of favorable flies and parasitoid wasps it's also a good flea repellent. It does very well when planted around animal kennels or their living areas to deter fleas.
